One of the many things that matters is watching the hips as they develop.\n\nChildren with CP can develop hip problems as they grow, and the earlier these are spotted, the simpler the treatment can be. Regular hip X-rays are a recommended part of care for most children with CP. But analysing these X-rays takes time, and results can vary slightly depending on who makes the measurements.
